This Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies (CFT) platform was commissioned by the community of Millaa Millaa in north Queensland to give an outlook to the spectacular falls of Millaa Millaa which is a short 6-minute drive outside of the town of Millaa Milla. It is constructed from Wagners Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) and has a design life of 100-years.
Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is the perfect material to use in this moist environment because it is:
- Chemically inert – won’t rust, rot or corrode
- Durable and robust – with a design life of 100-years
- Non-leaching – perfect for use in areas of high conservation value
- Lightweight – easy to handle and transport into hard to get to projects
- Modular – so can be assembled off-site and craned into position to reduce installation time in remote and sites without services
Millaa Millaa Waterfall is a spetacular sight located in the small town of Millaa Millaa, Queensland. The waterfall is a popular tourist destination and it’s easy to see why – the view is simply amazing from the Wagners CFT viewing platform! The falls are a popular spot for photographers as the beauty of the setting makes it an ideal location for capturing stunning images.
