The Cairns Botanic Gardens is a tropical paradise, renowned as one of the best exhibitions of tropical plants in Australia. Exploring the beauty of tropical plants, relax in stunning surroundings and learn about tropical flora and horticulture.

The boardwalk allows the visitor to imagine what the coastal areas of Cairns once looked like before settlement. Apart from the unique plant life existing along the walk, visitors can also enjoy the wildlife that inhabit the area.

The Cairns Regional Council used a crew of 10 people on site for a 14 week period. Site conditions were tough for the installation crew as the ground was very muddy and they were unable to get any machinery into the site to assist them so everything had to be completed using handheld equipment. A 300cfm diesel compressor was used to supply air to the pile hammer and tools via a 250m long hose which was used to get the air to where the crew was working.

Our unique prefabrication construction and installation process is perfect for environmentally sensitive areas such as the Cairns Botanic Gardens and ensures minimal damage to the surrounding environment while working on-site.
