How to use Wagners CFT Design Guide

Join Principal Structural Engineer Rohan McElroy from icubed consulting as he explores how to use Wagners CFT Design Guide.

Rohan will also explore the things you should consider during the design phase of a project with Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) structural profiles that differ from traditional materials.

This 30-minute on demand webinar is a must watch for engineers and architects wanting to maximise the use of FRP!

Space GASS is one of the world’s most popular multi-purpose two and three-dimensional analysis and design programs for structural engineering projects.  As such, the team at Wagners CFT has compiled a complete library of our entire FRP structural profiles for use on the Space GASS Platform.

With the Wagners CFT selection of structural profiles you will be able to design and analyse the performance of FRP structures including road and pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, tanks, viewing platforms and shelters, marine infrastructure, water tank columns, light poles and more.

Join Wagners CFT Plant Engineer and Team Lead of Custom Build Karl Back as he shows us some of his tips and tricks for achieving accurate drilling of Wagners’ FRP profiles.

Bicentennial Boardwalk Stage 2 – Airlie Beach

Walkers joggers and parents with prams have given Stage 2 of the newly completed Bicentennial Boardwalk upgrade between Shingley Dive and the Volunteer Marine Rescue Whitsunday in Airlie Beach the big thumbs up!

The original timber structure was removed by PW Landscapes for Whitsunday Regional Council in December 2023; making way for a new Wagners FRP boardwalk that is 336 metres long and 3.2 metres wide.

Watch the video timelapse of the demolition of the old structure and construction of the new boardwalk which took Plants Whitsunday 13 weeks to complete and was delivered on budget and on time.
