Check out the stunning Skehan’s Bridge which is located near Spring Dive and Skehan’s Lane in Corowa, New South Wales. Designed as a pedestrian bridge and constructed from Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies (CFT) Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) structural profiles, Skehan’s Bridge is part of the greater Lake Mulwalla Project.
Skehan’s Bridge is constructed from Wagners FRP which is manufactured in Australian at Wagners CFT’s Wellcamp manufacturing facility. Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is the perfect solution for this project because it is durable with a 100-year design life, is resistant to acid sulfate soil and termites and won’t rot, rust or corrode.
The pedestrian bridge was installed by Gradian Projects for Federation Council in New South Wales. Gradian constructed Skehan’s Bridge as part of the greater Corowa Mulwala Cycle Trail which was completed in 2022. The Corowa to Mulwala Trail is part of the Murray River Regional Experiences project which is a joint initiative of Albury City, Berrigan Shire and Federation Council.
